Dear friends,

 

We would like to warmly thank everyone who participated in our survey for the 31st reunion for MC Class of 75. 81 of you responded with a resounding 'YES' to our event, while 24 regretfully cannot make it. There are still 66 of you who have not yet responded or reached a decision. To those 66, we would greatly appreciate it if you could let us know one way or the other as soon as possible so that we may better plan the restaurant and picnic reservations.

 

It is with great pleasure that we officially announce the 31st year reunion of Class 75 to be held on Jul 1-2, 2006 in Orange County, California. This will be a 2-day event:

 

Saturday Jul 1, 2006: a picnic at Mile Square Park (Fountain Valley city near Little Saigon) for families. It will be "pot luck" style. Each family will bring something to share. The picnic will start at 11:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM.

Sunday Jul 2, 2006: a gala dinner for adults. "Youth" tables (for children 12 yrs and older) will be provided to alleviate the babysitting problem for some families and above all, to allow parents to fully enjoy the festivities of the evening. The cost per ticket is estimated to be between $50 - $60. The dinner will start at 5:30 PM and end at midnight.

 

Preparations are in full swing. We just reserved the restaurant and are in the process of negotiating with the band and singers. We ardently hope to see all of you in July 2006. For those who come from out of town, state or country, we can assist you with information, tips, and suggestions for places to visit (amusement parks, beaches, etc.)

Please contact Tran Khanh Chuong (chuongktran@yahoo.com) and let him know the number of guests and children you will bring to the gala dinner. This will greatly help our planning.

 

As we continue organizing our summer event, we will keep you informed.  We are truly looking forward to seeing you all in July 2006.
